Cineplex Community Day is a special event that happens every year where Cineplex offers free movies, popcorn, and drinks to Canadians across the country. This event has become a tradition for many families and friends who gather together to enjoy a day of fun and entertainment.
Cineplex theatres have some exciting plans to mark the 10th year of community day celebrations. They will be screening a range of family-friendly movies along with offering discounted concession items for all moviegoers to enjoy.

The lineup of Community Day this year has become the favourite of the family, including Paws of Fury, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the Legend of the Hank, the lost city, and Sponge on the Run.
Paws of Fury- The Legend of Hank
Hank, a down-on-his-luck hound, finds himself in a community of cats who are in need of a hero to protect them from a cunning villain’s plan to erase their town off the face of the earth. Our underdog must play the part of the town samurai and work with the people to save the day with the assistance of a reluctant teacher who will train him.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
In SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2, everyone’s favourite blue hedgehog is back for a high-flying adventure.
- It is determined to prove his mettle as a genuine hero, Sonic resides in Green Hills with utmost ambition and passion.
- However, matters take the grievous turn quickly when Dr.Robotnik resurfaces alongside Knuckles – his new confederate – on a mission to secure an all-powerful emerald capable of mass destruction against civilizations at large.

The lost city
Brilliant but reclusive novelist Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock) has spent her career penning popular romance-adventure books about far-flung locales that star attractive cover model Alan (Channing Tatum), who has devoted his life to playing the hero character “Dash.”
Loretta is abducted by an eccentric billionaire (Daniel Radcliffe) while on tour with Alan to promote her most recent book in the hopes that she will show him where the treasure from an old lost city is hidden. Alan decides to save her because he wants to show that he can be a hero in real life as much as in her books. The unusual team will have to cooperate to survive the elements and recover the ancient treasure after being thrown into an epic jungle adventure.

The tickets to watch the movies on community day is free of cost. But keep in your mind that seating is limited and available on a first-served, first-come basis only. Soft drinks, popcorn, and candy are available here at the rate of $2.50
Location and time to visit
The Cineplex community day is on November 19, 2023, Saturday. The celebrations on this day start from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Doors of this location are open at 9 am morning, and movies start at 9:30 am. All locations are returned to the programming at noon. Movies are shown in English and French on the basis of the market.
